The Office of Immigrant Affairs (OIA) & the Department of Behavioral Health and Intellectual disAbility Services (DBHIDS)’s “Rooted Together: Co-creating Immigrant Mental Wellness” brings together community organizations, providers, practitioners and community leaders to explore ways to strengthen mental health support for immigrant communities in Philadelphia.
Hosted by the Welcoming Network, the workshop will be held at The Discovery Center on Tuesday, September 22nd, 2026 from 12-4pm.
This workshop was born out of the continued and urgent need for mental wellness support for immigrants and refugees in Philadelphia. As an interactive workshop, this event serves to be a shared space where immigrant-serving advocates, and other mental health practitioners to collaboratively share their experiences, explore challenges, and generate ideas.
