For PDP 2020, there were 12 programs presented or co-presented by Peace Day Philly. Additionally, twenty one (21) police districts offered peace-related activities for community members across Philadelphia. Schools throughout the district were encouraged to do peace activities.
Highlighted 2019 PDP programs related to personal, local and global peace were:
– Global Perspectives on Pro-Peace Policies, Programs and Place-making
– The Nuclear Ban Treaty – The Path Forward!
– Peacebuilders Panel
– Peace and Wellness for All Community Event in South Philadelphia
– Race, Peace, and Climate Justice Talk
– La Ofrenda: an exhibition/ installation: Open House
– School district program including a panel, interactive activities for about 100 students
– Refugees Reimagined: An evening of refugee stories and conversation
– Climate change and racial justice film screenings
– Cultivating Personal Peace
