Peace Day Philly is a grassroots initiative that encourages active participation across the Philadelphia region in the International Day of Peace, a global day of ceasefire and non-violence observed worldwide on September 21. The Peace Day Philly initiative welcomes all organizations, neighborhoods, community groups and individuals to  observe this global day by creating and getting involved in peace and non-violence activities and events during the week of September 17th.
