The Philadelphia Shambhala Center invites you to join us for a series of free, public events in honor of the International Day of Peace. The morning will include a community meditation session, a book discussion introducing Joanna Macy’s World as Lover, World as Self and exploring her work in relation to peace, justice, and care for the Earth, and a Peace Day Meditation by the River on the Schuylkill.
All are welcome to join for any one activity or stay for the full morning. Registration is not required, but is helpful — and you only need to register once to attend any or all of the activities (see links below).
