DESCRIPTION:Democracy Circles are presentations and facilitated conversations about social justice topics to create more open\, just\, and safe communities. The Peace Center’s Democracy Circle program has been designed for fostering collaborative and democratic community dialogue.  Individuals\, organizations\, or other groups come together to promote peaceful education\, raise awareness and encourage understanding by emphasizing inclusivity\, transparency\, and collective decision-making on emerging issues that matter most in our community\, with the objective of strengthening community relationships. \nCultivating a Culture of Peace involves fostering a community where understanding\, respect\, and cooperation are prioritized.  Achieving Peace requires that each of us work on both our outward and inward lives.
